Treatment

Treatment

Compression hose are the most common form of treatment for spider veins. If that does not produce a result, a procedure called sclerotherapy may be performed. This is done by injecting a saline solution into the vein, causing it to cave in. This normally takes more than one treatment.

Prevention

There is no way to prevent spider veins.
